The Light Pulsar acoustic system is a compact variation of its technologically advanced counterpart, the GAS Bright Quasar, retaining nearly all of its core characteristics while cutting size and weight in half. Light Pulsar is an ideal solution for eliminating aberrations and synthetic coloration introduced by other well-known speaker systems. It is designed for professional environments such as recording, mixing, and arranging, as well as for personal Ultra High-End home audio and video systems.
It delivers an incredibly accurate emulation of complex acoustic instruments—such as a classical double bass, concert grand piano, large concert bass drum, timpani, and full cello sections bringing the immersive soundstage of a concert hall directly into your home or professional studio with unmatched precision and detail.The cabinets, base platform, and the LF, MF/HF modules are all crafted from precious woods. A custom 13-layer matte lacquer finish is available upon request.
High-Frequency Module – Full horn-type design with two units. The horn is connected to a compression driver through a dedicated air channel and features a custom analog magnetic biasing line. The pressure generated in the HF horn duct matches that of the lowest-pitched wind instruments.
Mid-Frequency Module – Electrostatic driver with an added waveguide for enhanced directionality and detail.
Low-Frequency Module – Features one-of-a-kind diffuser design integrated with a full-scale organ-style acoustic reducer for natural low-end response.
A key feature of the Light Pulsar is its horizontal acoustic wing, engineered to expand and capture both left and right sound fields.
To further enhance acoustic pressure and expand the effective listening area, the system architecture supports the addition of four satellite speakers as part of the left and right channels.
