The Geometric Acoustic System (GAS) Bright Quasar is an ideal solution for eliminating all potential aberrations and synthetic coloration that may arise when using other well-known speaker systems. It is designed for professional recording, mixing, and arrangement environments, for composers, and for building a personal Ultra High-End home audio and video system.
Its precise emulation of heavyweight acoustic instruments – such as classical double bass, concert grand piano, large bass drum, timpani, and full cello ensembles enables a remarkably accurate transfer of a concert hall soundstage into your home or studio with an unprecedented level of authenticity and detail.
The cabinets of the LF, MF, and HF modules, base platforms, and inter-block spacers are crafted from fine hardwoods, while the external finish of each acoustic block is made from natural stone.
HF Module is a full horn-type design. The horn is connected via a continuous air chamber to a 55 lbs compression driver, supported by a dedicated analog magnetic bias line. The air pressure within the HF horn’s duct matches that of the lowest-register real wind instruments.
MF Module – Electrostatic driver.
LF Module Diffuser – A singular engineering device combined with a full-scale organ-style acoustic reducer.
A defining feature of the GAS Bright Quasar is its use of a horizontal acoustic wing, engineered to capture the full width of the left and right sound fields.
The channel architecture supports the installation of four satellite speakers to significantly increase acoustic pressure and expand the effective listening area.
The unique GAS Bright Quasar reference acoustic system is the ideal solution for localizing all the aberrations and synthetic imitations that can occur in the sound reproduction process when using any other known acoustic system from any other manufacturer – in recording and mixing studios, in arranging, composing, and for creating a personal Ultra Hi-End home audio/video system.
